Roses and thorns

In an attempt to encourage sharing, I cleared Isaac's room of most toys yesterday. Usually his bedroom includes a train table, toy bins, and lots of Hot Wheels cars, legos, blocks, etc. Big brother has been panicking each time little brother comes near his room. Mom's solution: no toys in big bro's room. They are all in the office room...wish us luck today as we try the new arrangement! God gave us a rainy day today to experiment...Thanks, I think. During these trying times, I admire the gorgeous red roses my thoughtful, loving husband picked from our garden. Life is beautiful, thorns and all.

Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Oh, Renee! I so hear you. Same scenario here at our house between big sister and little sister. But yes, life is beautiful (despite my raised voice at times).

And what beautiful roses!!!

Hope that worked for you taking the toys out of the bedroom. Sounds like a good idea!
