Oaks Spring Fling

The Oaks Academy celebrates the end of the school year with a Spring Fling. They have a parade where each grade level dresses up as different themes. Kindergarten was Nursery Rhyme Characters. Isaac chose to dress as Hey Diddle Diddle.....not the cat (with fiddle)....not the cow (jumping over the moon)....not the laughing dog.....he wanted to be the dish (and spoon). Yes, the dish. So we put on our creative thinking caps and came up with a dish costume. Not bad for some cardboard, paper plates, and spray paint!

It was a fun evening of celebration. The same day was Grandparent's Day at The Oaks. Isaac was blessed to have all 4 grandparents and his Great Grammy Wilson from New Hampshire there for Grandparent's Day (morning) and/or the Spring Fling (evening). We are so proud of Isaac's growth during this kindergarten year, thankful for his teachers, and thankful for the opportunity to be part of The Oaks family.
