What's In Your Book Basket?

The boys and I enjoy our daily reading time, which is usually after breakfast, before nap, before bed...any time of day! I am thankful they love to curl up on the couch and listen to a good book. Its getting easier now that my little one will sit and listen, rather than try to touch or eat the pages. I often read to them while they play also. Right now we're reading Little House on the Prairie.

The Happy Housewife is continuing her series on library books, so here it goes! Isaac also picked out a few racecar books since he enjoys looking at the pictures.
  1. The Baker's Dozen by Dan Andreasen - a new favorite
  2. ABC by Arlene Alda
  3. Jamberry by Bruce Degen
  4. Doctor Ted by Andrea Beaty
  5. Cow by Malachy Doyle
  6. The Ox-Cart Man by Donald/Cooney
  7. Swing by Rufus Butler Seder

Ox-Cart man is one of our favorites. There is nothing better than snuggling up with your kiddos and a good book, is there?

Ox-cart man is one of our favorites. And our current bedtime read-aloud is "Farmer Boy", we've already finished the first two Little House books.

I really have to see if I can get a copy of "Jamberry", I've seen it on a couple of lists now :)

We love Jamberry and the Ox Cart Man. I am off to see if our library has a few others that you listed. Thanks for sharing!
